Welcome to Riversway!

Preston Docklands is a popular place for business, leisure, entertainment and shopping. It was once Europe's largest single dock basin. The new £4.5 million Ribble Link is the first canal to be built for 100 years and connects the dock to the Lancaster Canal and the national waterways network.

Reasons to visit

Take a walk round the dock basin, watch a film at the Odeon cinema, or have a drink or meal in one of Riversway's two pubs, The Ribble Pilot and The Waterfront. Chiquito's is a Mexican bar and restaurant just next door to the cinema.

The Riversway Festival is held annually, and the event this year is planned for Fri 15th - Sun 17th July 2011. The festival offers fun for all the family, including dragon-boat racing, Freestyle Jet Ski Display, International Food area and a fireworks finale. There's lots of entertainment for the kids, including competitions, paint-balling and wall-climbing.
